Winning Congressional Attitude

I cannot think of anything more cowardly than the game our ‘so-called’ representatives are playing over the Iraq War funding bill. It is utterly reprehensible to not move in a quick and efficient manner to get our soldiers every resource they need to conduct a war on foreign soil. To make such a despicable play for points as to submit a war funding bill that they knew would be vetoed is Machiavellianism in its worst form and the American public should have the intelligence to see the ploy for what it truly is. Unfortunately the liberal media has eaten the story for all its worth and has continued to make a mockery out of the sacrifices being made by our men and women in uniform. Driving the knife even further, on top of the every present “the war is lost” comments, there is now talk on the floor of submitting half a bill to the President that would only carry through until the end of July. I can literally feel the bile rising past the lump of sorrow in my throat…I continue to offer the following challenge to the freeloading, cowards in Congress: Use your purse-string authority and withhold war funding from the President outright, simply pull the trigger and hold a vote today on pulling all funds from our troops abroad. If you are so vehemently opposed to the war please do what you feel is the right thing and take action to remove our troops. Ultimately you will hold responsibility for the aftermath of your actions, but do your duty and put your money where your mouth is. Unfortunately, this will not happen and our brave leaders in Congress will continue to take away the necessary tools for victory in return for temporary and disgustingly cheap political gain.
